This project looked to infill an existing car port within in a new town house with a new playroom, utility room and WC. This led to the need for internal reconfiguration to the existing hall and kitchen, giving the client several new and versatile spaces. Slit windows were used to link both internal and external views, joining spaces and allowing the client to feel connected with each other and the wider site. Gaining planning permission and approval from the management company due to a site wide design covenant, the scheme proceeded to site utilising existing materials and finishes to blend the extension into the existing house and development.
